Maya Lindqvist
Concert pianist with a soft spot for absolute beginners. Maya founded Inkwell Hollow Tutors in 2016 and still teaches the Saturday starter groups herself.
Her lessons feel calm and unhurried: technique disguised as games, theory folded into songs, and a recital at the end of every term so progress always has a stage.
Beginner & intermediate piano · kids from age 5 · adult restarters
Conservatory trained · 15 years performing · teaching since 2012
Piano for Starters course and the young beginners program
“I started piano at 52, terrified. Maya never once made me feel behind — six months later I played at the winter recital with my granddaughter in the front row.”
